Vessels of Flow
“Vessels of Flow” places the player in a quiet walk along the Acquedotto Sistino, where objects from two distinct time periods are scattered across the environment. Only the three ancient vessels are collectible, each one revealing a short message connecting infrastructure, memory, and the continuity of flow. Modern everyday objects appear throughout the space but cannot be interacted with, functioning instead as visual noise that underscores the distance between present distraction and historical depth. The experience is intentionally minimal and contemplative: no conflict, no urgency, only observation, movement, and gradual revelation. The game ends once both vessels are collected, closing with a single line: “The flow continues.” The core concept is built on the tension between what persists and what passes, using the aqueduct as both setting and metaphor for continuity across time.
